Services Provided:Shared Lives Service provides support to adults, 16 and over, who have beed assessed as needing support. Shared Lives Carers support people both in their own home and in the homes of the Shared Lives Carer. They support people with anything that they need support with, including personal care, household chores, getting out and about, attending appointments, meeting others and enjoying life. As a Shared Lives Carer, they have committed to opening up their home, family and social connections, once matched with someone. The matching process is critical and must suit both parties. The Shared Lives Service can support someone for a few hours a day or both during the day and night.
Who is it for:Shared Lives Service provides support to adults, 16 and over, who have beed assessed as needing support. This service supports people from all client groups, providing they want the service and we can make a suitable match to a Shared Lives Carer.

Opening Hours:Louise works 5 days out of 7 while The Hub operates across 7 days.
Services Provided:The Hub. People who use this service 'pool' their membership fee to get more for their money. Members meet on a weekly basis through a programme of activities. There is a planned programme and 'taster' sessions. There is also support for short breaks, in small groups, signposting to other agencies, and use of volunteers. As well as support from paid staff, members contribute their knowledge, skills and experience to others when they are able to do so, to encourage informal and natural supports and relationships to develop. There is a six monthly stakeholder event across NL for people to get together, evaluate the last six months, and shape the next six months.
