North Lanarkshire Activities

North Lanarkshire Council Greenspace Development

North Lanarkshire Council Greenspace Development combines the services of Access, Biodiversity, Conservation and Countryside Ranger staff.  We aim to create and enhance greenspace environments throughout North Lanarkshire.  We consult with communities to improve local greenspaces,  promote Core Path Network and create new and improved paths in green environments.  We co-operate with partners in the Local Biodiversity Action Plan for the needs of wildlife and enjoyment of people.  The Countryside Ranger Service offer formal and informal environmental education opportunities as well as providing an annual Greenspace Diary full of activities and guided walks people can engage with at no cost. Find your local park, nature reserve or play park and see what green health activities are taking place.
